DONNA KUNZ, Economic Development Director, or her Assistant, RHONDA BARNHARD, will tell us how the Padre Hotel plans to repay 1.8 million clams or dollars, while trying to attract people to Bakersfield . . .

And finally, last & least!! . . . RICHARD CHAPMAN, President & CEO of the "Kinky-Eloquent" Department of "Cluelessness", or Kern Economic Development Corporation, must plead for his money from the Board of Supervisors - a real thrill!! This group can misplace 15 million dollars & still turn him down! He will remind us how he cooks the east side of Kern County (all kinds of alternative energy) where it's much warmer than Bakersfield . . .year round! And of course . . .

These folks work for the City & County Departments that compete for State & Federal funds to make our lives better! You know DONNA (City) is NOT receiving any greenbacks from Tandy! And DON is in the same boat - has no paddle! RICHARD (County) is forever courting business to Kern County without much help from his bosses! If you enjoyed the AMGEN Bicycle race (DON), the new Federal Court House (DONNA) & trips to outer space (RICHARD), come by & listen to these Pros in Action! They have to be good, they bring economy to Bakersfield, even . . .
